Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able perform, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. Anna appeared in several advertisements as a kid. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. Over the years following, she relocated in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured on CNN's list of the top Favorite TV Couples and named the Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Its popularity has led to Anna growing a substantial audience on social networks.
