Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life by using her creative and imaginative imagination. The songs she wrote were composed before she was able to read or write. After 8 years of age, she was playing her first guitar. At age 11 when she was 11, she began singing at Knoxville Tenn's local radio station. The same year, she released her debut album for Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. The singer established a name in the local scene while at high school, but dreamed of a bigger stage. The singer moved to Nashville following her graduation in 1964. Her first charting records for Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show needed a new singer at around this time. Parton accepted the job and in the year 1967, she signed with RCA Records in 1968 and was a part of with the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. The year 1974 was the first that she decided to leave Wagoner's show because the success of her individual records such as Joshua Coat, Many Colors, and Jolene was outstripping their joint efforts. Parton recorded "I Will Always Love You" in support of Wagoner just after the pair split. The song was ranked the top spot at No. The first time it made it to number 1 was in 1974.
