Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English half Spanish. Parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to learn English, hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor started when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as a professional model.
