Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim because of her portrayal of powerful, yet vulnerable character. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father Romulus Linney being a playwright. Linney graduated from Brown University, and then was able to continue her studies at Arts Theatre School Moscow. at New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. The audience praised her for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
